i used to have an xp media centre edition then i upgraded to vista home premium using the upgrade dvd i bought.
I am now going to upgrade most of my current computer components such as new motherboard, hard drive, graphics card, cooling, case etc.
Will the vista upgrade dvd work as my new system will not have xp installed?? As i heard from a site (sorry can't remember which one) that it will only work if xp is already installed and you are "upgrading" from it
I also dont have an xp installation disk but i have the recovery disk if that helps.
