Will a blu-ray disc play on my dvd player?

I bought blu-ray movies by mistake. I have a dvd player. Can I play the blu-ray on my dvd player?

Nope. You need something blu-ray compatible. Blu-Ray players, PS3, and some laptops.

No. It's called Blu-Ray for a reason, to tell you that it's not able to be played in a normal DVD player.

If you want something that can play Blu-Ray discs, a PS3 or a Blu-Ray player (of course) will suffice.

Sorry to hear about your mistake.. I'm sure wherever you got them will be willing to give you an exchange.
