Why are people saying it was "mean" and "wrong" that I gave my professor

his book & dvd back? Him & I ARE NOT friends anymore. I returned the book and dvd to his mailbox. I don't talk to him anymore, therefore I DON'T WANT ANYTHING FROM HIM. How is returning the gifts he gave me wrong???

If he gave them as gifts to you it was mean to return them. If you were borrowing them it was not. Your professor probably spent a lot more time helping you than he had to and people may think you should be grateful. But, I don't know what your situation is from your explanation.
