Thread: when i put a dvd into my computer but nothing comes up?

I'm trying not to laugh but is it possible you don't have a DVD-ROM drive?
Literally look at the drive on the pc case if you don't see DVD anywhere on it, you don't have a dvd drive, if you do then its possible that you have to reinstall the dvd drive driver. And the other thing that I can think of is you don't have a DVD codec try downloading this

just copy and paste the link in the address bar of your web browser, then click download. But seriously if you don't see DVD on your CD-ROM drive then don't bother to try any of it, you just need to buy and external DVD drive. It's either that the the drive can't read the disc, the drive is dirty, or you haven't inserted the DVD into the DVD-ROM drive.

Do you know if you even HAVE a DVD rom?

okay i'm not very good with this high tech stuff, but here it goes try down loading the dvd straight from your computer then down load it to your ipod make sure the dvd is clean so the computer will read it and down load it straight to your computer
then try re booting both your computer then your Ipod
