You see cakes of these on the supermarket shelves, but what's the difference?
Is one better than the other?
Is one more widely used than the other?
I have a DVD writer that I can use with my computer, which should I use?
Do you need a specific one for a specific purpose?

What's the difference between DVD-RW and DVD+RW?

one was made by Phillips and the other by Sony...Some Phillips Machines will only play -rw, other than that nuch much difference to speak of.
