I signed up for the one month free trial and it said that I get "4 one-night DVD credits", what does this mean? Does it mean I can rent 4 movies for free? Does it have to be in the same night if so? I have no idea how this whole thing works.

you should have codes. Each code is an individual rental. Its easiest to do the renting online, then go to the redbox area and pick up the movie.
