There's a lot of fun workouts but unfortunately they have to be a little hard in order to work. "no pain no gain" is a very true statement. Not only does it feel difficult for your body at first but some of the choreography is going to be difficult and you're going to want to give up when you can't follow the instructor. But hang in! It gets easier I promise you. My favorite workouts are the step workouts by Cathe Frederick. She's very good. Also Fit Tv's Sharon Mann has a good cardio. Look up Billy Blanks, Caribbean Workouts, Tracy Mallot, Tamilee Webb on the Internet. Just remember, 40 minutes of non-stop cardio ( a mix of lo and hi intensity is good, start off just w/ low) is best. If the workout is say, only 20 minutes, rewind and do it again, or put in another one. The key is to keep your heart rate up for a solid 40 minutes. Jog in place as you wait for the DVD to start back up; this is very important. Then, do your weights/toning after the actual workout. That will give you the quickest result. After just 2-3 days of working out correctly, you may not look different but you will feel great, muscles may be a little sore but they're a good sore. You'll feel like you've accomplished something. (Always remember that by "no pain no gain" I mean pain as in 'great effort'. Real pain isn't good. Make sure you follow the instructor's advise on the DVD) Hope this helps!!
