The computer is so small that it doesn't have a disk reader at all, so I was going to use an external disk drive, but the computer didn't come with the right driver to read DVD's. It will recognize what DVD it is but it won't play it. Help?

What kind of driver to I need to get my Gateway Netbook 2514u to read DVD's?

No driver needed when using a external CD/DVD optical drive. If the netbook recognizes the USB external optical drive but the DVD does not play then it is a problem with the laptops Windows media p[layer or the graphics/video card of the netbook.
