Thread: What graphics Card driver do I need to play blu ray DVD's on my new computer (I have

ATI Radeon HD 2400XT)??? I just bought a refurbished Gateway computer with a 9600 Quad core processor and a ATI Radeon HD 2400XT graphics card. It has a built in blu ray player. I'm attempting to play my first blu ray disc and the disc plays for a second and then an error message comes up and says that my graphics card driver is incompatible (most likely outdated) and I need to get a better one that is compatible with blu ray. Which driver do I get and how do I install it?? PLEASE BE SPECIFIC. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS STUFF!!!

PS: I have Vista Premium

First of all. it's on vista. The operating system is not friends with ATI video cards, well, it's more towards Nvidia.

Check if the card is HTSP. That means if it has the rights to even use HD/Blu-ray content in any way.
