Thread: What is a free dvd ripper for mac that will let me put scenes from different

movies onto one dvd? I would love to put all of my favorites scenes from my dvd collection onto one disc/dvd but I have no idea where to begin to do this. I have a mac, can someone please explain the procedure/software that i need to do this? Thanks!

handbrake is probably the easiest. it's a ripper and exporter. you can rip the scenes off your dvd's and export them to an easy format like mp4. then you can use imovie to put the clips together and idvd to burn the disc. or you dl another piece of software called burn. i actually recommend that because idvd is unnecessarily complicated. i use toast for all my burning needs but it costs money. both handbrake and burn are free and legit.
p.s. if you use burn you'll have to export the assembled video clips to a recognizable format (like mp4) before burning because i don't think burn works with imovie files.
