    What file format should I use to burn a DVD on a mac?

    I'm using idvd and a .m4v file and i keep getting an error. is there a better program to use, or a better file to convert it to? I have quicktime pro so I can convert to many file versions.

    AVI is advisable. Then you can burn avi to dvd.

    If you're win users,you can use a tool name Video to DVD Burner to burn wmv/avi/mkv/mpeg to dvd.
