*I have so many dvds and they take up a lot of space. Recently I started buying movies on amazon instant video and love that I dont have to store another dvd. What I would love is to be able to rip all my dvds on a device and just put my collection in storage. Can live hub do this? I have about 500 dvds......

WD live hub to digitize my dvd collection?

No, it can only store and play the files,
You need to rip and convert the DVDs on your PC, then transfer to the Hub for storage and playback.
The only turnkey DVD storage and playback system is a carousel/jukebox that stores and retrieves the physical disc in its innards.
