Is there a good DVD to Ipod software that is better then Handbreak?

I am looking for a good program to ripp DVD's to my ipod but I find handbreak to confusing (ie; figuring out when and when not to deinterlace) and I don't want to have to "experiment" with settings for every DVD I ripp to my pod. I just want a program that will rip em to my DVD with good quality (to play on a television) and a resonable file size.

Any suggestions?
