Thread: Is there a format that can be burned into a dvd disc?

There's this series of movie in my computer that I want to burn into a dvd disc that can be view in the dvd player. The format is rmvb so I was wondering is there any format that I can convert it into in order for me to burn it into a dvd disc and play it in a dvd player?

Most DVD players will play mpeg2 files. One of the programs on this page should help (its download.com, so they're all spyware fee). The first one looks pretty good for what you need.
