Taking Mac movie files and burning them to a DVD from Windows?

i have this retarded spanish video due and the only thing i could edit it on was iMovie on a mac...one problem...the mac doesnt have a dvd burner and it saved the movie as three different folders that only work when are together. i put those files on a flashdrive and on to my windows on the pc and burned it onto a DVD....well it will only play on Quicktime on the computer and not a DVD player...my teacher doesnt have quicktime and can't download it....im screwed...ive spent so many hours trying to fix this but i can't. is there anything i can do to make the files work on a DVD player? btw..my mac is old and has no special features..i don't have iDVD or any of that. my friend tried doin it on her PowerBook G4 but it didn't burn there as well...please! i need help! i have no time with finals comin up in two days
