    how to play dvd in ps2?

    how to play dvd in ps2 using an old panasonic tv (not LCD or Plasma tv) tell me step by step....

    okay it can be played now...but why is the color black and white on the screen?

    first download the movie then back it up. burn the movie to a dvd. buy swap magic as well. remove the cover on the disc tray. put swap magic in. swap the disc. play the movie you dumb cunt

    Step 1- make sure you actually have a ps2
    Step 2- open the disk slot
    Step 3- put in dvd
    Step 4- turn on ps2
    Step 5- fo to disk menue and wait it to load
    Step 6- press play
    Step 7- enjoy!

    Just like a regular DVD player, put the DVD into the console like a regular disc, then it should play.

    If it doesn't, then go to "Browser" menu, then you should be able to see a disc on the screen. Click it and it'll play.

    The only reasons why it might not work is if the console is:
    1) region locked
    2) the lens is dirty or malfunctioning
    3) The disc is scratched or dirty

    4) the console is broken

    But yeah, just do that.
