    How do I copy a dual layer dvd to a single layer dvd?

    what program do i use? i tried power iso, and each side of the dual layer disk has a "video_TS" file and if i try to put it onto one disk i need to put both of those files on one disk, and it says "would you like to overwrite the file?" please help, what software do i use?

    While you could actually try this, you will lose your data. A dual layer DVD holds up to 9.6 Gb of data, whereas a single layer DVD only holds up to 4.7 Gb of data. Putting the contents of a dual layer DVD on a single layer DVD, you will lose any data over the 4.7 Gb maximum size.

    If your dual layer DVD contains less than 4.7Gb, then you could use Roxio Easy CD Creator to copy the data.

    Duplicate file names is easily rectified by creating separate folders for the duplicate named folders.
