Besides, if on dvd player is written "DivX" does it play mpeg4 files and backwars?

DVD player with, Divx playback, mpeg4 playback, & USB input?

I have a great philips player that does this. It was $75 over a year a go. I dont think it plays mpeg4 but I only put xvid files on the usb stick. no mkv
Also ps3 plays these files nowadays. with the right
