Thread: Selling cd/dvd player, what do i need to do to show buyer it works?

I'm selling an in dash cd/dvd player locally and to prove it works for the buyer I need to hook it up to a power source. Do i take a battery and connect the power wire to the neg. terminal? what else do i need do i need to ground it to metal?

just like your car. hook the black wire to the neg bat cable, and the red to the pos.
