Thread: Remove Write protection from DVD-R?

Is there anyway I can remove the write protection from dvd-r???? I accidentally put the wrong file on it and now I can't reformat it cuz it says there is a copywrite protection? Please tell me how to remove it.

If you try to use nero 8 or later or alcohol 120 percent those can bypass that.

I may be wrong, as I usually am. But from my understanding is that when you burn a Non-rewritable disk, you cannot put anything on it once you burn your files to the disk. If you had a rewritable DVD then you could... I'm sure there are ways around this, but you will be digging yourself a hella hole... Did you try a google search?

Sorry i couldn't be of more help, but I'm fairly sure you cannot rewrite a non-rewritable disk... lol
