i'm trying to burn a DVD, and in the past I've used the Windows program for it. this time it's going incredibly slow. i started burning it yesterday morning, let it sit overnight, and woke up to it being stalled at 71%. I gave it a couple hours, but it didn't change, so i canceled it and attempted it again and now it's going even slower. the video is the same size/length as the others that i successfully burned (still took a long time but not as bad as this) and i published it with movie maker so the file itself is fine.

is there any way to make it faster or a different way to do this? also - is there a way to make sure that it's still going overnight? i've set my laptop not to "sleep" when it's plugged in, but i can't stay up all night keeping an eye on it.

thanks
