Thread: Is it possible to show a dvd at an anime club?

Hi, I'm in good progress with creating my club for anime and manga.

But I was wondering if when we have anime viewing, would it be legal to show dvds I bought on my computer onto a projecter so the club could have a movie night?

iirc the more recent fbi warning on anime says that its now illegal to show the dvd to a group of people even if you make no money on it, but i am a bit lazy to check again with one of my newer anime dvds... though the anime club in my school stopped showing anime quite some time ago, or at least so says a friend who used to go.
