Thread: portable dvd player?

im considering purchasing a used mintek 1815. The seller said the unit powers on, and reads discs, however the battery won't lock into place. In order for it to play correctly, the battery needs to be secured. Is this a problem? Could it be fixed?

(sorry to annoy anyone by posting this too many times, but i'm looking for a logical answer.)

doesnt sound good. look for somthing nicer. I have one. got it at toys r us

hmm... i think you can call the manufacturer and ask them if it's possible to have it fixed.. or ask the seller if he/she has some type of warranty on the player. if not you could always go out and buy a new portable dvd player. it'd be slightly more expensive but they don't really go for much these days.

Just tape it down or if u want to be a little bit smarted, take it to the geek squad
