recently i called HCL engineers to my home as my DVD writer doesnt working properly. they came and uninstall my nero 8 and installed a software named LG burning tools and my DVD is burning DVDs smoothly.....and it is similiar to that of Nero. Plzzzzz helpppp

Nothing strange with it. Nero is bad, if the current LG software is working fine, stick with it =)
Or you could always try ImgBurn, my favourite burning software
