PC file problem - can't copy from the disc, due to properties?
I've written two .avi files to a blank DVD in which it's properties are not defined, and I have erased the original files off the Hard Drive, and they are long gone now...
Anyway while the files stored are on the DVD - you cannot copy them off, and change/rename the files - because it's on the disc - with it's properties not defined as anything.

Can anyone recomend a program that will copy it off, and rename it accordingly? Or know of a quick fix to copy it off the DVD disc? I'm using Windows XP. Note - the filename is OK, but with the .avi missing on the end. I thought I did a straight copy in the first place, and so, I don't know the .avi was dropped and the properties set on some null format, that XP won't recognise...

Note - Previous answers focused on it being a DVD disc, as in movie DVD - this is not the case at all. It is simply two files on the disc that I can't access at all, although it's there on the dir
