It says Im missing codec. I tried downloading 4 different codec packs, some came from downoad.com with high ratings, and when I installed them, I got a new error talking about my resolution is too high, and too lower it. I tried this, and it did not work.

I DO NOT want a different player. I need the windows media player so I can work in windows movie maker.

What is wrong here? These are not illegally obtained movies. I bought these from the store and I used to play them on my computer with no problems.
I dont have XP. I have vista
