My sonic the hedgehog dvd wont auto run on my laptop...?

I just brought the sonic the hedgehog satam tv serries 4 dvds. Now i want to back them up to my hard drive but my comp doesn't auto run the dvd when inserted so i cant even play them let-alone rip them.
Normally my laptop plays any dvd i give it but not this one. The dvds work fine on my dvd player and ps2.

Is there any way to get my pc to recognise the dvd ?
