My Reason 4 for mac needs the DVD to work..?

Ummm... I got it from my 'peers' and opened it up and everything and it says that it needs the disk to work. I tried keeping the .dmg file open while opening the application, but it still asked for the original disk. Does anybody know how to bypass this or even trick the system?
