The words 'no signal' appears along with 'Ext 1'. Can someone tell me how to get the picture up on screen. Thanks
My mother has both Freeview and analogue. I've checked all cables and they are fine.

If your using the standard AV connection (Red,White,Yellow) make sure they are connected properly(Fiddle around to see if its the connection.If its a scart box, make sure the input is connected to the output or make sure its no loose or damaged.
