A year ago, it happened. Everytime I put a CD-ROM game discs or music CDs into my Windows XP PC, it never read! But when I put my DVD-ROM or movie discs into the drive, it read perfectly. Why is this so?

My DVD-RW Drive can only read DVDs, and doesn't read CDs, why is that????!?

it need replacing (the Drive)
Why, because it is an electronic device
