i have nero and it is a dvd burner and the blanks work on other comps

My DVD Drive Cant Recognize blank DVDs so i cant burn anything Whats Wrong with it?

1. Are you sure you have a DVD Burner?
2. Do the DVD's show up as burnable in another computer?
3. Have you tried a different DVD from a different Spindle? (Maybe you got a bad bunch)
4. Have you been able to use DVD's before in your drive?

it might be because your computers disk drive can only write to cd not dvd, download a dvd/cd burner like nero
