Thread: My CD/DVD drive won't work?

I have a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6025 and the optical drive says the power to the drive is Off. I cannot find any way to turn it on. The Geek Squad cannot either. Any and all help would be appreciated.

1-. buy a cd cleaner
2. check driver's files if need or not
Right click on PC >>>properties >>> advance >>> hardware administrator
if your needed search on google DRIVER GENIUS
3.-move out screw cd drive. move it out the cd drive and put in again
