My CD/DVD drive does not work.. read for more info...?

I have a Sony vaio VGN-N110G and my DVD drive for it doesnt work and hasnt been working, i dont know whats wrong with it, please someone help me. it does open and the light does come on and the lens does move, i can feel it and the CD/DVD does spin when there is in.
