festival FAQ.? "You must supply two copies of your film as a 16:9 aspect ratio uncompressed .MOV file on DVD in separate cases with the name of the film and its creator clearly marked. Your DVD should be in PAL TV format and the regional code should be set to ALL REGIONS. Make sure that your DVDs work in your DVD player before you submit them."
Isn't it correct a file must be converted to a VOB file in order to play on a DVD player? From what I understand from the above, the DVD should be playable on a DVD player, but as an uncompressed .MOV file. To burn an .mov file, the DVD has to be a data disc, but data discs can't be played on a DVD player?
