Thread: I need to make a copy or record a dvd :) ?

so i am borrowing 3 dvd's from i girl i dance with and theyre of our old dance recitals from when we were little. so i really want to make a copy of them so do i have to have dvd copying software with a blank dvd?? please explain what i have to do. and is there any way, if i put the dvds in and play them on my computer, can i record whats on the screen and save it to the computer? the second way would be easier if possible (cuz on facebook people have pictures, taken from their computer of whats on the screen) so how do you do that?
