    I need help burning the recovery disc for my toshiba A205. it wont boot from

    DVD after burning it.? i have burned the two ISOs that my dad has uploaded to me to DVDs using Nero and K3b (i run SuSe 10.3 KDE) and after both times, i boot the laptop with the first DVD in the drive and the boot order with CD/DVD as first boot. it doesnt boot from the DVD and continues to the hard drive. does anyone know why and any fixes?

    Check the integrity and the SHA/MD5 checksum.

    Could be the Boot Sector file is corrupted by the Intel or some other 'stamp' that does not match.

    That one should cover it,,,
    Could be the burner, imgburn is a good one,,,
    sourceforge has copies of it.
