I don't have a DVD Drive, what do I do?

My laptop wont play DVD's, my laptop is a DELL Inspiron and it's Windows 7. When I put a DVD into my computer it just makes a few sounds (like the disc is turning) before it just stops completly. I went into "my computer" clicked on DVD RW Drive and "application not found" came up, is this why I can't play DVD's?

    How do I fix it?

Doesn't work, it says it can't detect a DVD in the drive when there is a DVD in the drive. It sucks balls.

This is going to sound like a really weird solution, but tape a few coins (2 or 3 pennies) near the center of the disc, evenly spaced around the central hole. Likely the disc is too light (made too thin) to maintain a grip on the part that spins the disc.

If this doesn't work, then you might have to replace the disc drive or get an external one that you can attach.
