Did you install the audio cord between the drive and the audio card/motherboard? If you want digital audio instead of using the cord, then you need to enable digital CD audio for your drive. If using windows, then go into My Computer, right click on the drive and select properties, click on hardware, highlight the drive and click on properties, click on properties, check the box next to enable digital CD audio, click OK, click OK. You may then need to restart the computer.
