    How to set up bios for first time? Just boot from dvd to install windows 8?

    Any configuration or something or just set dvd as boot drive and install?
    Hav 990fx extreme 9 mobo.

    Thanks. So no settings need to be changed? Like the frequency for my ram etc?
    It will all be detected automatically?
    Plus can I use my GPU to connect to screen?

    Just insert the dvd & restart your computer.
    You'll be prompted to Press Any Key to boot from that dvd.
    If not press bios setting key(normally del/fn key) & select dvd before harddisk as your boot drive.
    Thats all Press any key & start the setup.
    ***During installation your computer may restart & same message will be displayed "press any key to boot" .This time don't press any key. The computer'll automatically star & resume installation.
