How do I shrink a DVD? What program do you recommend?

Ok, I have a 5.42GB dvd on my computer and I want to write it on a dvd - 4.7 GB preferably without losing too much quality.
Can you please recommend me some program to shrink 5.42 to 4.7 GB?
Remember I need the quality.
Thanks a lot!
I tried DVD Shrink and it shrinks it in 2 minutes and the result is really bad for 4.7 gb!
