My mother gave me a tv and a dvd player she had in storage, she said that they had both been hooked up only a few months earlier. When she recovered them from storage, she was unable to find the tri coloured component cord to hook up to the tv. I went out and purchased the cable and hooked them up. To my surprise, it didnt work....can anyone give me a suggestion as to what I could be doing wrong please?

it depends on you DVD and tv

if your dvd has only 1 big hole of the size of the earphone then your wire need to be 1 to 3

but if your dvd has the 3 colors at the back then you need tri cords

but if your tv is hd then you need a tri cord to hdmi cord
