how do i get a scratched DVD to work - at home?
I do not understand why my DVD doesn't work.
It barely has any scratches.

I have other DVDs with even more scratches that work just fine.

Get one of those finger nail shine boards!

I have one that is a triangle they say buff, polish and shine.

Use the shine side and it will polish your DVD like new!

Or you can call around to your local rental place and ask if they polish DVD for a fee. Here its 3DVD's for $5 to get them polished like new...

rub toothpaste in a circular motion right onto the scratches
wait about 2 minutes then gently wipe it off with a tissue
