How do i fix a scratched DVD? Please Help!!?

So me and my friend got drunk last night and she decided to put toothpast on my RENTED dvd last night and then she decided to carve my whole name into the dvd with her nail and now my name is scratched all on the back and i have to turn it in today. How the hell am i gonna get away with this. lol
