Thread: How do I burn a DVD with more than 999 photos?

I want to burn a slideshow of photos to dvd, but windows DVD maker only allows me to add 999 photos (and i have 1261). The dvd has enough memory space to take the files, they're only 2.05GB. I have windows 7 if thats relevant.

Any ideas why/how i can fix it?

The problem could be that it was assumed that nobody would want a slideshow consisting of 1,000+ photos and therefore the 999 limit exists because of no allowance for a fourth digit - 999 is three digits while 1000 is four digits.
Perhaps your only hope is to copy the photos from your My Photos album to the DVD drive and simply copy them onto DVD.
Assuming each slide remained on screen for 10 seconds 1261x10=12610 seconds (3.5 hours)
