How can I play a pds file in DVD ?

We have got a new compaq laptop and have copied photos from nikon 12 MP to windows moviemaker. now when we have changed the version from Basic to ultimate, we are unable to open them as it is showing pds file. how can i play them in my DVD player. can u please help
