    How Can I Copy a Dvd I Bought To My Computer That Is Copyrighted?

    for christmas i got the complete set of Band of Brothers and The Pacific

    i wanted to copy the dvd's to my computer so i can watch them on the go but they are copyright protected

    is their any way or any programs that will allow me to do this

    i have windows 7 ultimate so if there is a preloaded program

    cdburner xp is the one i use..out in dvd and choose rip data option or copy or whatever and it'll do

    Internet search 'dvd rippers' and take your pick.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HandBrake Handbrake works well. You need to install VLC media player first so Handbrake can read commercial dvds.

    Install ANYDVD, insert disc, right click on icon in tray and rip to hard drive. Use VLC to play the folder.
