Thread: How can i convert an AVI file to a format so i can burn it to a blank dvd-r for FREE?

I am using Vuze. I downloaded "a movie" and i wanna burn that "movie" to a blank dvd-r disk. I dont understand why this has to be so confusing. But i just wanna watch this "movie" on my dvd player. Please help out include the best Program i can use to perform such a procedure FOR FREE. Very easy 10 points if u know what to do. I dont wanna pay for something like this Are there ANY programs i can do this with for FREEEE?
