How can I burn an Xvid file onto a DVD, so it will work in a standard DVD player?

I have a movie on my hard-drive in 'Xvid' file format and i want to burn so it works in a normal DVD player. Does anyone know of any free software to do so? Thanks all in advance!!

I personally use Nero Vision, but thats not free.
