Is it harmful for a child to lick a CD/DVD?

I just want to know if it's harmful if there is no way that the CD would break or anything. I don't want to hear "oh why would you let them do that anyway"

    CD/DVD contains chemicals...

Other things are, CD/DVD are plastic, it can also be sharp depends on how it breaks into pieces...

For sure, keep it away from you child...although, it is hard to break, but it contains chemicals...
