file too big to copy to a dvd?
okay, so i just made a file on my computer that's pretty big.....7.6 GB. I was trying to burn it to a dvd when my comuter said that my disc didn't have enough space....the blank dvd discs that i have only hold 4.7 GB. i read that you need a dual-layer dvd that holds 8GB, and when i looked online, they were REALLY expensive....well they were expensive for blank discs atleast........
the file i want to put on a dvd is only an hour and 50 minutes, so i don't understand why there has to be SO much room on the dvd......are real movie dvd's that large?
Or, is there a way that i can put part of the movie on one dvd, and the rest on another dvd? would that be possible at all?
